VIVO Y15 Launched in India With AI Triple Rear Camera, 5000mAh Battery for Rs 13,990:


As a part of Y-series, the Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, unveils its latest phone Vivo Y15 in India today. The handset costs Rs 13,990 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant. Vivo Y15 will be available in two colour variantsAqua Blue and Burgundy Red.

Y-series smartphone the Vivo Y15 sport 6.35-inch HD+ plus LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1544 pixels. Vivo calls it the Halo FullView Display. Vivo Y15 offers triple rear cameras, a combination of 13MP main camera, an 8MP secondary AI super wide-angle camera, and a third 2MP depth camera. The connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi along with a USB port 2.0 port.


It has Helio P22 system-on-chip in is core which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Funtouch OS 9.
In terms of the camera, which is also one of the highlights of the device, the Vivo Y15 features a triple rear camera setup which is powered by artificial intelligence. The triple rear camera features a 13MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0, an 8MP lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP lens with an aperture of f/2.4. In the front, the device features a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity option in the newly launched Vivo Y15 include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi-Fi and USB 2.0.

There is still no official date as for by when can we expect the device to land in the markets. Vivo Y15 will be available on Amazon.com, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata Cliq, Vivo India's e-store, and in the offline market.  The company has announced several offers for its offline buyers, they can get the device at zero percent interest on Bajaj Finserve, IDFC Bank, HDBFS, HDFC Bank, Home Credit and Pinelabs Credit and Debit cards.
