Realme 5 Pro launched in India with quad cameras: Price in India, specs and release date







Realme 5 Pro sports the new Crystal Design with a holographic colour effect. The phone will be offered in Sparkling Blue and Crystal Green colours. Realme 5 Pro features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a dewdrop notch.

The Realme 5 Pro features quad-camera setup on the back with a 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel camera for portraits, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Realme 5 Pro will include the same image tuning as Realme X.
On the front, the Realme 5 Pro includes a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Under the hood, Realme 5 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC. The phone will be offered with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.

On the battery front, the phone includes 4035mAh battery and it uses VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The company will bundle a 20W USB Type-C fast charger in the box.

The Realme 5 also features the same Crystal Design as Realme 5 Pro. It will be sold in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colours. Realme 5 has Mini-Drop fullscreen display of 6.5-inches with a 89% screen-to-body ratio.

On the camera front, the Realme 5 has a similar quad camera setup to that of Realme 5 Pro. It includes a 12-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel camera for portraits, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.



Realme 5 comes with a 5,000mAh battery, making it the phone with largest battery in the company's portfolio. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC.

According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 665 is based on 11nm manufacturing process and includes Kryo 260 CPU cores. It also includes Adreno 610 GPU.

Realme 5 series will come with a splash-resistant design. The Realme 5 series will run on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top. The phones will support Google ARCore and the same support will be coming to older Realme phones as well.

Along with Smartphones Realme also announced new Realme accessories - Realme Iconic Case for Realme 5 Series (Rs. 399, on sale starting September 21), Realme Tote bag (Rs. 1,199, on sale starting September 4), and Realme Buds 2 (Rs. 599, goes on sale September 4).

Pricing and availability -
The Realme 5 will be offered in three storage variants - 3GB + 32GB at Rs. 9,999, 4GB + 64GB at Rs. 10,999, 4GB + 128GB at Rs. 11,999. The first sale for Realme 5 is scheduled for August 27, 12 noon. It will be offered via Flipkart and Realme.com , Realme also confirmed that the devices available in offline stores soon.

Realme 5 Pro, on the other hand, has been priced starting at Rs. 13,999 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants will retail at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively. The first sale for Realme 5 Pro will take place on September 4 at 12 noon. Realme also confirmed that the devices available in offline stores soon.

Lastly, Realme CEO also stated that Realme will bring a new phone - Realme XT - in late-September with 64-megapixel primary shooter and a total of four cameras on the back.
