Xiaomi has postponed the first sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India due to the COVID19 pandemic. The company is yet to announce a date for hosting the sale.
Redmi launched its Redmi Note 9 series a couple of weeks ago in India. The series included Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, while the Note 9 Pro already went on sale.\
Xiaomi’s VP Manu Kumar Jain reached out via his social media account to announce that Xiaomi will be postponing the first sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max as the entire country is going in a state of lockdown. The lockdown conditions will make it harder for Xiaomi to dispatch the unit timely across the country and hence, the sale has been put on hold. While the sale has been postponed, Xiaomi hasn’t announced the new date for the sale yet.
