In today's world, there are many thoughts of people regarding Big-Screen devices, whether they are good or disadvantageous? So, today let's explore this in detail and find out the facts behind the actual reason for it.
Talking about Big Screens, Samsung Galaxy S20+ has a screen of 6.9"inches, and for a reference, iPad Mini has itself a screen of 7.9" inches. Samsung had first provided a screen more than 6" inch in its 'Galaxy Mega'. In today's world, it became a kind of problem to find a device having less than 5" inch screen size, as nowadays most of the devices are exceeding more than 5.5"inch screen size. And probably, for this reason, some people might be willing to use the iPhone-SE and other small screen devices because these are more compact which can be easily carried anywhere as the users wish to take with.
Talking about the trend of big screens, it was actually started from "FabLet" (i.e., phone+tablet, having a screen size more than 5" inches) and was started from Samsung Galaxy Note-1 which introduced the FabLet category and the 'FabLet' keyword was also taken form this only. At that time, it was the world's largest screen as during that time most of the Companies were manufacturing small screens but after FabLet's initial success, other companies also gradually started to manufacture Big-screen devices. And the general trend of Big-Screen got started.
The basic problem of Big Screen devices are:-
• They are hard to carry, as most ladies had to face problems and had to carry such big-screen devices in external pouches to prevent its accidental falls.
• Usability factors are also becoming quite tough because one-handed use can be a little tough; like the top of the screen lies quite away form one-handed finger's reach.
• To maintain the Aspect-Ratio of the device, its Width is also increased which leads to the problem of less-Grip; which may even lead to slipping of big-screen devices.
Nowadays, Companies basically manufacture the majority of its devices having a minimum screen size of 6" inches which isn't much worth of appreciable in some instances. Whereas, Apple is the only remaining company which manufacture quite small devices along with big-screen devices to enhance better user interference and easy usage. As these will be easy to carry and can be used with one hand also, and probably this is the reason for which Apple will introduce its upcoming devices of the screen size of 4.7"inch with a design of iPhone-8 as it is on-demand of consumers in the market.
