Huawei sells its devices in two of its brands (Huawei and Honor). Huawei is the world's 2nd largest Smartphone manufacturing company. Huawei is already a big company that has a very high market share profit in China, as in China maximum handsets are being sold by Huawei only. The honor was introduced by Huawei during 2011 and was later brought up into the market in 2013 for the first time, with an expectation of giving tough competition to Xiaomi handsets.
Basically, in reference to today's market rate; it seems that Honor devices are sold much more than Huawei, as Huwaie is no more concerned and limited to manufacturing only handsets, instead they are emphasizing more on Tele- Communication equipment manufacturing, from which they earn really high market share.
The strategies between Honor and Huawei are totally different from one another because Honor is more 'youth-centered' company which focuses on providing high-quality smartphones in affordable price ranges, and probably for this reason Honor handsets seem under budget categories. Honor's main competition is Xiaomi and OnePlus, thus Honor is limited only up to this; where-as Huawei is made to compete further with Apple and Samsung which are usually expensive. Because of all such reasons, Honor devices are more likely to get sold much more than Huawei as it's cheaper and affordable for customers. And further Huawei is limited to itself, to give direct competition with the premium segment of Samsung and Apple devices.
Basically, Huawei devices charge more expensive rates because of its new technology implementation and premium segment competition, thus they are usually expensive. But after sometimes, similar technologies are also seen under the handsets manufactured by Honor handsets.
