Microsoft is the world's largest software company. This company is started by BillGates and in recent times, it is being led by Satya Varela.
Microsoft and Apple:-
Once upon a time, both Apple and Microsoft were used to share a very good relationship with one another as Bill-gates and Stieve jeff shared a good friendship with one another. In Microsoft, the first software was initially developed in Macintosh including Powerpoint but later, when Microsoft came it led to some conflict between these two Companies. But fortunately, Microsoft saved Apple from Bankrupt in 1997; thus Bill gates and Microsoft have invested $150Million to save Apple Company. Thus because of this, many new devices were seen to enroll in the market and gradually their friendship again bonded.
Microsoft's First Smartwatch:-
In 1994, Microsoft made a partnership with "Timex" Company and manufactured; world's first smartwatch - 'Data Link 150'.
Microsoft futuristic Gadgets:-
Microsoft also manufactured various different technologies, like Real-time Translation, Proto-Types of Computer, Tabs and internet-enabled TVs; but these mostly failed, as it couldn't encourage to come into the market for sale because during that period of time Microsoft has manufactured such High-rated gadgets which were not on demand among the customers during that period of time.
Microsoft X-BOX:-
Microsoft also has its Gaming Console, which is referred to as X-BOX. In reality, the name X-BOX has been derived from "Direct-X Box" which was it's first initial name; but later-on 'Direct' word has been removed from it. It was initially named as 'Direct-XBOX' because "Direct-X" is itself a special Software API that is used in Microsoft-Windows to play graphic-intensive games. Even in today's X-boxes Direct-X Technology is used.
Microsoft interview:-
Microsoft uses to hire it's software engineers by some interviews, during which they ask some typical questions to the engineers, to test and determine the creativity of their thinking. This technique was later adopted by Google, FB too.
Microsoft 10,000th patent:-
Microsoft's 10000th patent was 'Microsoft-Surface Laptop' which was really a revolutionary laptop in the market.
'Bing' search engine:-
During 2014, the Bing search engine had predicted that " the final match of ongoing football World-cup will be played by the teams of Argentina and Germany ". Which was really un-predictable by the normal minds of people, but it was predicted by Artificial Intelligence which has accurately predicted.
Microsoft acquisitions:-
Till now Microsoft has acquired more than 190 companies including Nokia.
