Android 11 is still a few months away from being officially released and the first devices, like Google’s Pixel devices, start getting updated.
Realme is reportedly already working on Realme UI 2.0, which is slated to be the company’s skin on top of Android 11. Initially, the company confirmed a few devices that will be getting updated to Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.
The first Realme device in line for Realme UI 2.0 seems to be the Realme X2 Pro. The company just kick-started the recruitment for Beta testers who will take part in testing Realme UI 2.0 on the Realme X2 Pro.
This is one of the very early stages of this software development and Realme is making a very small pool of testers for the same. As a start, Realme is offering only 100 slots.
Realme plans to engage this small group of Beta testers for a period of up to 1 year, as they will form part of the Realme X2 Pro Long-term Beta Program. The company further says that it has divided this program into two segments, a Closed beta and Android 11 Early Access Beta.
Realme has also provided a way for interested persons to apply for these available slots and the deadline for application has been set to 18th May 2020. The company adds that successful applicant members will be announced in this same thread latest by 22nd of May 2020.
