The future of Desktops are Smartphones?

Well, we all know that smartphones are getting powerful day by day, so will these improvements in mobile phone processors could lead to the replacement of pc? In today's time, every second company is improving their device's processing capacity and capabilities. So does this implementation could really lead to a new revolution? Let's find out its answer with an upcoming context.

Samsung DeX

Every year Samsung brings something new features to its devices and Samsung DeX is also a feature which connects your mobile phone to a monitor so that full access can be enabled with the mobile itself by which all the activities can be performed seamlessly even on big screens with this 'Samsung Dex' without any desktop or laptop. This concept is actually really great but it also has some cons too as it comes as wireless nowadays this leads to some delay and latency for various inputs. Even galaxy tab s comes with Samsung dex feature which enables the users to use such an amazing feature by simply using some accessories like keyboard and USB to HDMI port the device connected with a screen can be used as a desktop.

So watching all such implementation in today's world of modern technology we can predict that in my future, our smartphones could also give us the seamless experience of desktops, which would be a great step forward to the modern-day technological world. But for the current time being, it's not practically possible as proper application support isn't featured in a good way even all these applications which can be seen in smartphones are optimized as to be used by touching them instead of using keyboard or mouse thus these couldn't be fully compatible for the latest current time being. Another point to be noted is that, on desktops, we usually can access high-end tasks easily but if this type of technology is used then we can only be using the highest possible processing limit up to which the smartphone comes with, so if the device doesn't have a massive processing unit in it then its quite obvious to predict that we won't be able to use such high-end tasks to do by this feature.

So technically mobile phones yet need to be improved much more to perform such high-end tasks easily as that of desktops. So with proper execution, if the mobile phones are developed accordingly to be used as such and also desktops and monitors are manufactured to emphasize more compatibility with such features then only we can assume to use these features to experience the best of it.
