As we all know Hyundai had a great kickstart this year with many of its attractive and demanding cars in the Indian market. And according to some latest leaks, it has been now confirmed that Hyundai will be launching its brand new little beast soon in the upcoming year of 2021.
On the basics of the leaks, it's gonna be smaller in size than" VENUE " (the name of the vehicle isn't confirmed yet) and it is going to be manufactured in "Sentro platform" and many more leaks are coming out about it. We know present days, those SUVs which are available in the market like " BREZZA, NEXON, VENUE, SUV3OO" are of the prise segment starting from 8-8.5lakh whereas there is low segment prised SUVs also exist like 'KUV1OO" etc but they didn't do well in the market, the reason can be many more like shape, power, reliability, etc. The main reason is that they didn't perform well in the market but the coming segment was definitely fine as like "The TATA HUX" which we have already seen in AUTO EXPO is very nice and compact and the coming "Hyundai's AXN or AX1" or its name can be anything else since the real code name is not revealed yet as the SUV is not launched anywhere in the worldwide. And in INDIA it is expected to come in next year. So the difference between it from other SUVs and venue is that it will be smaller in size, boot space will be reduced and maybe bonnet area will also be reduced and the length will comparatively less from other SUVs.And it is expected that its price will be starting from 5-5.5lakh onwards(Ex-showroom).In this price segment, we also have Sentro, grant i10, etc. So we may have an SUV with that price segment also and also 3-4 cars were expected to come in this price segment also.
So the intention of all the companies is that they want to expand the volume by manufacturing small compact SUVs. So every company wants to have micro-compact SUVs and they expected if it can expand the volume of the Indian market.
In simple words are those small SUVs in this price segment are truly SUVs?Benefits can be like you can have high-level seats and you have better visibility of the road and many more but you will not find many specifications like those higher-priced SUVs.And the thing is that you will be confused about what to buy. And that confusion will always exist.
So the launched timeline of that SUV is expected to be in December 2021 or Mid-2022 and its design from the side looks like the same as that of the venue and it looks like the shrinking version of the Venue and in the front, it also expected to be designed like venue and expected to have split headlamp like headlights in the front and upper side may behave indicators with a led headlight and lower with fog lights.BUT in the leaked pictured it is covered, so take it with the pinch of salt.&in the picture, we can conclude that it will have a great height and will have roof range.
Features of the car are not revealed yet but the expected features will be 2 airbags, ABS+EBD, Connected car technology, rear AC vents, four comfortable seats, and other utility features will be like a sunroof, push start/stop, etc. that we are aware of and it expected that it will be manufactured in next-gen Sentro flatform.
For India it will surely cover 1litre 3cylinder engine non-turbo, 1litre turbo 3cylinder petrol engine will be offered and one diesel engine will also be there of 1.2 liters which were also we can see in grandi10 neo. And there will be MANUAL & ATM both will be available.
So now the first question is, the car is suitable for which peoples? and the second is, are you excited about that? So the answer to the first question is, it is for those peoples who drive on a bad road, Hurshy roads, off-roads, where there is no proper road, it is for them. They will have surely find it for them. Now the answer to the second question is that if I was a buyer I will definitely consider a super compact SUV since it has a nice ground range and high seating formula with good specification(if there).
