So the name 'Kushaq' means Emperor in Sanskrit, it's for the first time that a foreign company coming here in India and using the Sanskrit words. This is very nice to see such, other brands could also take inspiration from them and use Sanskrit words also.
Skoda Kushaq is an SUV that is made on the Vision IN concept, which was displayed in the AutoExpo last year. So, Vision IN was a concept vehicle that Skoda displayed and it cost slightly higher than Creta and Seltos and if we see this in comparison to Harrier then it would have been a little bit cheaper. This Cars wheelbase is 2651 mm, which is bigger than Seltos and Creta but is smaller than Harrier and Hector.
Launch Date
The official design of Skoda Kushaq will be unveiled by March 2021, and if you're waiting to know the delivery dates, then delivery might start around June or July.
Design
the Skoda Kushaq's design will be 80-85% similar to Skoda's Vision IN, the headlamps, front grills, etc will be more or less similar with the Vision IN, and its ground clearance will be 180-190 mm, its wheels will be approximately 16-17 inch, from rear its design will be more or less similar to Kodiaq and Karoq, so this is what the vehicle will be in terms of styling.
Engine
This will vehicle will be available with only two petrol engines, which are 1.0-liter turbo petrol with 6 speed MT/Auto, with 108-110 bhp, and another one is 1.5-liter turbo petrol with 7 speed DCT and with 150 bhp, so overall you'll get to see 3 options as a package but with 2 engine option, this will be disappointing for those who have come for the diesel engine.

Skoda Kushaq comes with 6 airbags, ABS + EBD, traction control, and ESP, so these features will be offered with this vehicle. Skoda Kushaq will come with only a front-wheel drive, there's no all-wheel-drive option on it.
