The Tata Altroz iRA connected car technology is a smart technology which let keeps you updated about your car whenever any issue arises, it'll notify you with the help of a message alert, you can control or operated your car remotely with the help of your smartphone through an application named iRA connected car.
Features of iRA connected car technology.
Remote Control
Connected car technology will allow you to remotely control your car like, you can lock or unlock your car with the help of your phone, you can turn the headlights of your vehicle on and off, you can use your car's horn with your smartphone, you can also check the distance to empty.
Normal remote control of a TV works from near, but this remote control works differently, in the car there is a sim already installed which communicates with your phone, through which you can control your car from anywhere through your phone.
Vehicle Security
In a situation of emergency, an emergency SMS is sent automatically to your pre-approved contact and to the nearby Roadside safety and also to the Tata motors customer care, alerting about the accident or about the emergency, and also give them your location. If an intruder tries to steal or break into your car or run away with the car, then you'll get an intrusion alert on your phone, in case if the intruder runs away with your vehicle, in that situation you can track down your vehicle with the help of stolen vehicle tracking, and you can remotely immobilize the vehicle so that the thief can't escape with the vehicle. There is one more helpful feature which will help you to find your car, in case if you forget where you parked it, then you can find your car through app with the help of GPS. And another important feature is Panic Notification, in case of any panic situation or emergency you can send SOS to the people you want to know about the emergency situation, then you can send Emergency SOS to them from the App itself.
Gamification
In gamification there are 3 main parts, first one is social tribes, which is nothing but a community or group, where you can communicate, discuss or talk with everyone and socialize yourself with the community. You can track down your trip details and mileage, average speed, highest speed reached, etc. This feature will all give scores to your driving like how you were driving, how much pressure you applied on the brakes etc.
Live Vehicle Diagnosis & Alerts
This feature will keep you updated on your vehicle's brake system status, electric power steering status, powertrain status, etc, it will immediately notify you about the problem with your vehicle. If someone else is driving your car and they're driving it above a certain speed limit that you have already set on it then it'll give a speed alert. If your car is kept start on an idle position then also you'll get an idle alert if it's kept running on an idle position. If you want weather updates then you can also get weather updates with that technology.
Location-Based Services
You can restrict for your car, in which you will get alert when your car goes outside the area or keeps on running for a certain time, it's known as geo-fencing and time fencing alert.
Valet Mode, it will help you to track your vehicle when you give your car to the valet, you can restrict your car within a limited area and if the car goes outside that area then and then you'll get alerted about it.
You can share your location with others and you can search for roadside assistance, and find the nearest service center with the help of this technology.
Natural Voice Tech
You can give Hinglish voice commands to your car app like you can normally talk with the AI, it will understand your commands, there are 70 Hinglish commands in the app that you can use.
What3words
In this feature, the whole world is mapped in 3 squared meters, so if you want to go somewhere, then if you say the what3words of the location then it will guide you to your destination. This feature was earlier only available in high-end vehicles like Mercedes Benz and now it is also available in Tata Altroz.
