Kia Seltos Gravity Edition: Launch Date, Price, Specifications

So in this article, we'll be going to discuss the Kia Seltos Gravity Edition. Let's go to Flashback was launched in 2019 and after that, in 2020 a few updates were given to it and in 2021 a few more updates are going to come in it.

Price

The on-road price of Kia Seltos in Mumbai is around Rs 11.5 to 21 lakhs, nowhere Kia will not make any changes in it because of two major reasons first, its price will increase with the changes because of which it will be more expensive in comparison with Creta, because of which buyers will not consider Kia, and another reason is they are not actually giving many features in the updates.

Launch Date

Its expected date of launch is 27th April 2021, if it gets delayed then it'll be in May, or the launch might get delayed due to the pandemic also. Till then it is supposed to get launched on 27th April 2021.

Changes made in the Car

So there will be two major changes or we can say two new things will be introduced. So the Seltos will remain the same as it is but, the Gravity Edition will come, which will come with a new front Grill, and there will be a few changes in the design also. So that's the major change which will be given to the car, and other than that, Seltos will get Panoramic Sunroof, which is at present missing in Seltos. According to us, they should introduce an Electronic Parking brake and Auto hold also, but it is not confirmed yet. The next important change which will be there is with the Engines, IMT will be introduced on both 1.4 Litre Turbo Petrol Engine and 1.5 Litre Petrol Engine. Some shuffling might take place in the internal features of the Car other than that there won't be any major changes. So you can expect its pricing at around Rs 11.5 to 21 lakhs. We're expecting that the engines which are coming in the top models, those will be offered to the Gravity Edition too.

You might also want to know about the changes which are made in the other markets too, the changes which are introduced in South Korea last year, the grill of the car is changed and with that 18-inch alloy wheels have been given to the car and with that few other safety features have been given to it, over the regular Seltos, so chances of introducing those features in India is less, because if they offer 18-inch wheels in India the price of the Car will increase and there will be a change in the mileage of the car and as well as the performance also, thus the driving pleasure will degrade a little bit because of that. And we don't think the features like lane change assist, and high beam assist will be much practically in India, and it doesn't seem like this brand will introduce this. According to my the built quality of this car could be improved a little bit more, as the cars which are coming in this segment which are Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Aster have better-built quality in comparison with Kia Seltos.
