At Google I/O 2021, Google unveiled a new UI design language in addition to its futuristic 3D hologram-based video calling solution Project Starline and new Wear OS features. It will replace the Material Design UI on Google's hardware devices with "Material You," a new, colorful, and personalized design language. And it appears that Google is beginning to roll out the new design. On the Android app, it recently added a new Chrome flag to enable subtle Material You design elements.
The new flag in Chrome 90 for Android, spotted by Android Police, adds the Material You design element to the browser's overflow menu. It removes the existing overflow menu's sharp edges and replaces them with rounded corners in the menu box. As a result, it appears to be pleasing to the eye.
You can see a comparison image of the previous overflow menu and the new Material You enabled overflow menu in Chrome for Android right below.

To enable the new Material You UI in the app, go to chrome://flags/#theme-refactor-android URL and from the drop-down menu, select "Enabled". Then, at the bottom of the screen, tap the relaunch button.
Restart Chrome once more after it has relaunched on your device. Close the app from the Recents screen this time, and then open it from the app drawer. After that, you'll be able to see the new overflow menu in Chrome with soft, rounded corners.
It's also worth mentioning that Chrome's new flag isn't compatible with every Android device available in the market. As a result, it's possible that it won't work on your phone, especially if it's on an older version of Android.
