OnePlus India has announced that its "Smooth Summer" launch event would take place in the country soon. In addition, the Chinese company has revealed the name of its next-generation OnePlus Nord device. And, more to our surprise, the name will be OnePlus Nord CE 5G.

The launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India confirmed
Every OnePlus enthusiast has been waiting for the debut of the next-generation OnePlus Nord device in India. While the firm does not say what it plans to disclose in the summer event, its Amazon webpage has revealed the details.
The summer event webpage's source code shows that there will be a New Nord smartphone launch event. When you click the "Notify Me" option to sign up for event alerts, Amazon sends you an email verifying your membership. And it's there that Amazon accidentally exposes the name of the next Nord device, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
We don't know much about the upcoming Nord CE 5G in terms of specifications and features right now. It will, however, include the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset, which was unveiled earlier this year, according to previous sources. You can expect, the Nord CE 5G will provide flagship-level performance at a reasonable price in India.

CEO Pete Lau revealed the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will debut on June 10th in India and Europe in an interview with TechRadar. For those who are curious, the new “CE” label stands for Core Edition. Nord CE, according to the company, would be a redesigned version of last year's Nord, featuring basic features as well as some additional updates to enhance the experience.
Lau also confirmed the existence of the OnePlus Nord N200 5G, which will be available in the United States and Canada exclusively later this year. According to earlier this week's rumors, the company also plans to debut new OnePlus TVs under the U-series.
