Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with Dimensity SoC Launched in China | Specifications, Price and Availability:

Xiaomi has introduced two new Redmi Note 10 smartphones in China today, after the debut of the Redmi Note 10S with the Helio G95 SoC in India. The Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10 Pro 5G are not the same as the Redmi Note 10-series, which was released in India in March of this year. These phones have MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipsets, a 5,000mAh battery, and 5G connectivity, among other features. Let's take a look at the key specifications and features of the new Redmi Note 10 smartphones.

Starting with the higher-end Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, the device has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display, unlike its 4G version, which has an AMOLED display and is offered outside China. However, the panel does have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has a maximum brightness of 1100nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features a triple-camera setup with a primary 64MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens on the back. The cameras are located on the back of the device in a rectangular module. A 16MP selfie camera is positioned inside the punch-hole cutout on the front.

Inside, The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is packed with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset combined with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also includes a microSD card slot for expanding the device's internal storage capacity.

The device's battery capacity is a whopping 5,000mAh, with the capability for 67W rapid charging. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can be fully charged in under 42 minutes. In the box, you'll find a Mi 67W quick charger.

Aside from these features, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G does have a fingerprint sensor on the side for biometric authentication and payments. It also comes with JBL-branded dual stereo speakers that are Hi-Res certified and support Dolby Atmos.

The device is available in three color options: Magic Green, Moon Soul, and Star Yarn, all of which include “3D stereoscopic texture” on the rear. It comes with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 10 5G has a smaller 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080p and a peak brightness of 500 nits.

Unlike its elder sibling, the Redmi Note 10 5G has a dual-camera array on the rear. This has a 48-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone does have an 8MP selfie camera on the front for taking selfies and video conferencing.

In terms of internals, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is a 7nm-based 5G-capable chipset. And has an internal storage capacity of up to 256GB and up to 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It also has an IR sensor, USB-C port, 3.5mm audio port, and dual SIM support.

The Redmi Note 10 5G is available in four color options: White, Blue, Gray, Green, and Blue. The device, like the Pro model, comes with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.
