Fortunately, Battlegrounds Mobile India allows you to transfer your account from PUBG Mobile, and this post will show you how to do so. However, you will not be able to fully restore your account. Here's how to transfer your previous PUBG Mobile account info to Battlegrounds Mobile India once you are on the login screen of Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Sign up for a New Battlegrounds Mobile India Account
1. Create a new BGMI account before transferring your data to Battlegrounds Mobile India. To log into the game. You may log in the same way as you did for PUBG Mobile.
2. Your name and profile photo will now be requested by BGMI. To continue, select “Continue as <name>.”
3. Now you may choose a username and personalize your character. This isn't a big deal since when you restore your PUBG Mobile data, you'll receive your previous username and avatar back.
How to Transfer an Existing PUBG Account to Battlegrounds Mobile India
Keep in mind that after December 31, 2021, you won't be able to transfer your account data to Battlegrounds Mobile India. After that, here's how to use the built-in account data transfer option to transfer all of your PUBG Mobile data to BGMI.
1. After you've created your BGMI account, you'll receive a pop-up asking you to confirm that you live in India. To confirm that you are accessing the game from India, tap “Yes.”
Note: If you tap “No” when asked if you are from India, the game will exit immediately. As a result, make sure you tap “Yes” when asked.
2. A new pop-up will appear within seconds, asking if you want to transfer your previous PUBG Mobile data to this new account. To confirm your actions, tap “Yes, please continue.”
3. In the following step, you must provide your permission for your account to be transferred. The previous account's data will be erased once you've transferred your PUBG Mobile data to Battlegrounds Mobile India. Furthermore, certain previous in-game attachments mentioned above will be lost during the transfer process. To confirm your permission to this account transfer, select "Yes."
4. Now select the social network account that you already linked to PUBG Mobile. To begin the account migration procedure, tap “OK” to log in to your Facebook/Twitter account.
5. Sign in to your account using your Facebook/Twitter credentials. PUBG Mobile will ask for your email address after you've logged in. To continue tap the “Continue as <name>” button.
6. A final confirmation screen will appear. To approve the transfer of your PUBG Mobile account data to Battlegrounds Mobile India, press "Yes."
7. Finally, press "Continue" on the next page, and your PUBG Mobile data will be successfully transferred to Battlegrounds Mobile India.
8. After that, BGMI will take you to the login screen. You may now log in and begin playing the game where you left off before PUBG Mobile was banned in India.
Note: You must wait for the merging to complete, which might take up to 3-5 minutes. You can log in to your account after 5 minutes.
Alternative Method: Transfer your old PUBG Mobile account to BGMI from the settings
If you've already set up your Battlegrounds Mobile India account and skipped the account transfer pop-up window to get straight to the action, you're ready to go. Don't worry, you can transfer your PUBG Mobile account to Battlegrounds Mobile India in a few simple steps using this method:
1. Tap the upwards arrow icon in the bottom right corner of your Battleground Mobile India lobby screen.
2. Then, from the slide-out menu, tap "Settings."
3. At the top of the "Basic" settings menu, you'll see the "Account Transfer" option. Now, tap on the "Account Transfer" button and go back to Step 3 in the instructions above and follow the rest of the steps.
That's it; you'll now have access to all of your PUBG resources in BGMI. Please note that attempting to login to your Global version after transferring your data may result in a 50-year ban from the game.
