India collaborates with the World Health Organization to launch the mYoga app, featuring free training videos

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the mYoga app for smartphones on the occasion of International Yoga Day. The World Health Organization (WHO) and India's Ministry of AYUSH collaborated on building the app, which is available on iOS and Android.

The mYoga app is a dedicated app that is designed to assist users in learning and practicing yoga on a daily basis. It provides yoga instruction for both beginners and experts, with the goal of encouraging people to include yoga into their everyday activities.

During a recent televised speech to the country, India's Prime Minister stated “In collaboration with WHO, India has taken another important step. We will be launching the mYoga app which will have yoga training videos in different languages for people across the world. This will help us achieve our ‘One World, One Health’ motto”.

As you might expect, the mYoga app will now include a variety of yoga training videos to assist users in learning and doing the exercises using their smartphones. The software currently supports three languages: Hindi, English, and French. However, future upgrades will offer support for more languages. The app is also claimed to be safe and secure because it does not gather any personal information from its users.

The WHO mYoga app has over 10,000+ downloads and a 4.9-star rating on the Google Play Store as of writing this article. Let us know your experience after using the app if you haven't used the app already.
