Skoda Kushaq: variants and pricing (expected)

Skoda Kushaq

The Skoda Kushaq is the next-gen C-SUV to enter the market. The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun will all be its competitors. The vehicle will be launched in the country on June 28th. Skoda's Kushaq will be a petrol-only car, with the carmaker staying away from diesel units. The car will be powered by turbocharged petrol engines of 1.0-litre and 1.5 liters. The 1.0-liter engine will produce 113 brake horsepower and 175 Newton meters of torque. The 1.5-liter engine will produce 148 brake horsepower and 250 Newton meters of torque. The 1.0-liter engine will be coupled with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 1.5-liter engine will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG transmission. In this article, we'll talk about our expectations for Skoda Kushaq's variants and pricing.

All of the Kushaq's features will be divided into three variants: Active, Ambition, and Style. The Active variant will be the base variant, with Ambition as the mid-variant and Style as the top-of-the-line variant. The 1.0-liter engine will be offered in the Active model, which will be coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Ambition will be available with a 1.0-liter engine and 6-speed manual or automatic transmission options. Only the top-of-the-line Style model will be available with 1.0-liter or 1.5-liter petrol engine options. The 1.0-liter engine will be available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission options, while the 1.5-liter engine will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG transmission option. Furthermore, this model will come with everything the car has to offer. Some of the car's many features will include wireless connectivity via Android Auto, Apple Car Play, connected car technology, paddle-shifters, wireless charging, an ambient lighting system, an electric sunroof, a 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated leather front seats.

Pricing

The Kushaq is expected to be 95 percent localized, according to Skoda. As a result, when compared to other cars in the segment, the pricing could be kept very competitive. Based on the competition and its market share, we predict Skoda to price the Kushaq between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom). A Monte Carlo variant may appear later and be placed above the other three variants. We expect it to be a little more costly. Aside from that, the Skoda Kushaq will be released on June 28th. We'll know a lot more about the car on its launch.

That's all for this article. Stay tuned to CERadar for more such updates!
