MIUI 13 |
Xiaomi is scheduled to launch its next-generation mobile operating system, MIUI 13, after releasing the MIUI 12 skin for its mobile devices last year. Xiaomi has reportedly upgraded its native Mi File Manager app with various new UI and animation tweaks that reflect the style of the company's upcoming skin, ahead of its release date.
Xiaomi just released a new version of its File Manager, according to screenshots and screen recordings from several sources (v4.3.0.2). Many new UI elements, animations, and an overhauled Mi Drive page have been added to the new system file manager app, giving us our first view of the MIUI 13 design language. Take a look at the images below to see the look that I'm talking about.

It's worth noting that the MIUI File Manager app hasn't changed significantly in terms of functionality from its previous version. Xiaomi, on the other hand, has included several new visual elements and animations for arranging files and folders that were not before available.
The Mi Drive website has also been completely redesigned, with file categories at the top and Files, Recent, Transfers, and Profile tabs at the bottom.

By the end of June, Xiaomi is expected to release the new MIUI 13 skin. However, that chance is low because Xiaomi is still working to fix the remaining bugs and glitches in MIUI 12.5 with the support of the MIUI Pioneer Group, which was formed recently to identify and solve software issues faced by the user.
As a result, after making the OS launch-ready, the company may unveil the MIUI 13 skin in July. According to sources, Xiaomi will update all devices released in the last two years to MIUI 13, with the Mi Mix 4 expected to be the first handset to run the new OS out of the box.
That's all for this post. Stay tuned to CERadar for more such updates!
