Apart from launching high-end flagship smartphones and fitness-focused wearables in India, Xiaomi is also a major player in the country's power bank market. In India, the company has launched multiple new and high-power banks under the Mi brand. Xiaomi has now introduced the Mi HyperSonic Power Bank, a 20,000mAh power bank with 50W fast charging support.

The Mi HyerSonic Power Bank is a three-port charging device that is both compact and bulky. It has a matte black appearance with dual USB-A + USB-C ports, as well as the ability to charge a laptop at up to 45W PD. It also has various security features built-in, making it one of the safest power banks on the market.

The Mi HyperSonic power bank is powered by a 20,000mAh Lithium Polymer battery. It can charge a mobile device at a rate of up to 50W. The device can fully charge a Mi 11X Pro in just over an hour, according to Xiaomi. Moreover, as previously stated, the power bank can charge a laptop at a rate of up to 45W. According to the manufacturers, it can fully charge a Lenovo L480 laptop in 2 hours and 27 minutes.

There are two USB-A ports and one USB-C port on board when it comes to ports. In dual-connection mode, each USB-A port can supply up to 22.5W of fast charging capability and can also deliver 15W of charging power. On the other hand, the USB-C port supports 45W charging for compatible devices as well as the power bank itself. According to Xiaomi, the HyperSonic Power Bank can be fully charged in 3 hours and 50 minutes.

The Mi HyperSonic is protected by a clever 16-layer chip protection technology that avoids overheating, short circuits, voltage mismanagement, and other threats during fast charging. It is also approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

In India, Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign for the HyperSonic Power Bank. This means you can head to the official funding page to fund Xiaomi to produce the power bank. It is currently available at a discounted early-bird rate of Rs. 3,499. It will, however, cost Rs. 4,999 when it will be released later this year.
