So OLA Electric has finally launched its OLA S1 and OLA S1 Pro electric scooters in India officially. It has a beautiful design, and technology is built in it. OLA has first showcased their manufacturing setup in the launch event, which is their large factory setup where they have a target to manufacture millions of two-wheelers a year. Definitely, the product is made in India, which is a great thing. So let's know more about it.
So if we start with the acceleration, you'll be getting 0-40 speed in just 3 seconds and from 0-60 in 5 seconds, and it has a top speed of 115 KMPH, so it is definitely crazy in an electric scooter. This electric scooter has a range of 181 km on a single charge. So you can move around in the city easily without any worry. The scooter will come with 3 modes normal, sports, and hyper. OLA Electric Scooter comes with a 3.9 kWh Battery Capacity, and it comes with a 750W portable charger that will completely charge the battery in 6 hours. In short, start charging your scooter at night and take it off in the morning, and you're good to go for 180 km. OLA has hyper chargers, if you're stuck somewhere and your battery is low, then you can get to a hyper charger near you, and it can fully charge your scooter up to 50% in just 18 minutes. With all these, you also get a reverse mode in your scooter, so you can easily reverse your scooter just with a press of a button. It also has a Hill Hold feature for hilly roads, and also with all these, you get cruise control in this scooter, and you also get built-in speakers in the scooter. In this Scooter, you get a 7-inches shatter-proof touchscreen display, in which you will get a widget as well, and the whole display setup will be working based on a 3GB RAM OctaCore Processor. OLA Electric Scooter also has proximity unlock feature, so it will automatically unlock when you come closer to your scooter. It will automatically lock when you go away from it, and you can also unlock it with your smartphone and obviously with your key.
In this scooter, you can have some customization options and some sound modes, which you can set according to your mood and personal choice; the sound will come out from the scooter according to how you have set and have the vehicle sound of your choice. You can also set user profiles in the Scooter and set it in the scooter, and then you can remotely track, control, and lock the scooter. And you can also set a range if you have given your scooter to someone, so he can't take your scooter outside that range. With all these features, you also get the voice control feature, where you can control music, navigation, and in fact, you can also answer calls on your vehicle.
Variants
So OLA has launched two variants of the OLA Electric Scooter, one is S1, and another is S1 Pro. Now, S1 Pro is for those who need more range. In short, S1 has a top speed of 90 KMPH, with a range of 121 km. S1 Pro is for someone who needs higher top speed, higher range, etc. S1 comes with a top speed of 115 KMPH and has a range of 181 km. In the S1 Pro Variant, you get an extra mode called Hyper mode, whereas, in S1, there are only Normal and Sport.
