Realme recently announced that its first laptop, the Realme Book, would be released in China on August 18. Many Indian supporters were disappointed by this announcement. Even though the Chinese giant has been hyping the laptop for weeks, we had no idea when it will be released in India until today. The Chinese giant is sending out media invites, confirming that the Realme Book Slim will be released in India on August 18 at 12:30 p.m. IST. That implies it will debut in India at the same moment as it will in China. It'll most likely be the same laptop as the Chinese version, but with the name "slim" to emphasize its slim and lightweight design.

The official media invite states, “realme Book Slim is designed to empower and is Realme’s first high-performance device, a perfect blend of hardware and software that is made to create. It will bring you an excellent all-around screen with a resolution never seen before in its price segment.”

For the past few weeks, the company has been teasing certain key features of its upcoming laptop. Realme Book Slim will be a premium offering with a sleek design, 2K display, and USB-C fast charging support, as we already know. Although the company has yet to reveal all of the specifications, leaks have been rampant. So, let's have a look at the rumored Realme laptop specifications.

According to the company's Weibo profile, this laptop will include a 14-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The display will also support 100 percent sRGB, which may be valuable to creators. According to rumors, the Realme Book Slim will be powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 Processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. The laptop's design is similar to Apple's MacBook series.

The laptop will come preloaded with Windows 10 (with the option to upgrade to Windows 11), as well as a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello compatibility, Harmon Kardon speakers, and a backlit keyboard.
