Reasons to Wait for Mahindra XUV700

So we are here with the 7 reasons you should wait for Mahindra XUV700, already many teasers about this car are coming, and it seems to be really exciting because what they reveal from time to time makes it possible cooler.

1. Safety

Safety is something you can't count on in the same list; airbags alone can't save you; well, airbags are useful. Still, other factors become vital for you. Specifically if you're concerned about your safety. There are many accessories in your car that you can add aftermarket, but safety is something you can not add later on. If you take a look at the history of Mahindra Motors in the last couple of years, according to Global NCAP, XUV300 is the safest car in India; Marazzo has scored 4 Stars, Thar scored 4 stars. So we are expecting that the lineage of XUV300 will be carried forward to XUV700. Like XUV300, XUV700 will come with features like 7-airbags, ABS + EBD, Traction Control, ESP, and we are expecting other features like Hill descent control, All disc brakes, Electronic Parking Brake. A feature is there called Driver Drowsiness Alert, which means that while driving, if the driver is feeling sleepy, the car will automatically detect it. Similarly, they have added a Personalized Voice Alert of Speed; this feature will give a personalized alert when you cross a certain speed limit.

2. Performance

If you check out cars of this segment, you'll notice that for some, Patrol is underpowered, and for some, Diesel is underpowered. But, in XUV700, you'll be getting a 2.0-liter Petrol Engine and 2.2 Liter Diesel Engine which means the performance should be good. Moreover, if we notice XUV300 has a powerful engine, and Thar also has a powerful engine in their segments, similarly we can expect that XUV700 will also come with powerful engines. The reports say the Patrol will produce almost 200 BHP, and the Diesel will also come with a high-performance engine. So performance will be a key element here. Moreover, if you see both Patrol and Diesel engines, both will come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission, and they have also mentioned in the teaser that it will also come with 4 driving modes.

3. Space

If we look into their earlier cars like Marazzo, Xylo, and XUV500, you can notice that in the 3rd row, three people can easily fit in, so we can expect that it will be spacious and have a good amount of space in the 3rd row as well.

4. Features

From the already revealed features, we can say that this is pretty awesome in the segment. You'll get features like a large touch screen system, digital instrument cluster, a big sunroof called sky roof by the company, wireless charging, Android Auto, and apple car play will also be there. Another cool feature will be there, which is if you go at higher speeds above 80 kmph. Your headlights switch to extra light for extra safety, which is called an auto booster, and you should get dual-zone climate control as it is also coming in the XUV300, and we're expecting the same to be carried forward the XUV700 as well.

5. Technology

So we're expecting this car to come with technologies used in it like 360 Camera, Semi-Autonomous Driving, ADRENOX, which you can connect with the Alexa, and it will come with connected car technology expected that Blue Sense plus will get some extra features too. Other features like 3D Surround Sound by Sony were also given in it, and many features will be there in it, which is a big plus point in itself.

6. All Wheel Drive

So XUV700 will be coming will All wheel drive technology. It is not 100% sure which variant the All-wheel drive will come from, but this feature will definitely come in the XUV700. Earlier, XUV500 used to come with an all-wheel drive, and now it will be carried forward to XUV700, so now if you get stuck on any bad condition road, and all-wheel-drive will help you out of it.

7. Dynamics

So what are the dynamics of a car? Well, one is driving quality, and another is ride quality. So if you look into the XUV family, specifically the new generation, from XUV300, you would notice that they have focused a lot on the ride quality; if you drive it on the bad roads, you won't feel uncomfortable in the car. So the same thing has been carried forward to the XUV700. Moreover, the dynamics of XUV700 will be more enhanced than the XUV300 as the XUV700 is wide and longer than XUV300, so the driving dynamics will be better. So you'll get the driving pleasure that you expect from a modern 7-seater SUV.

So how much will be the price of this car? Well, it is pretty difficult for us to predict now, but it is expected to be priced around Rs 18 - 32 Lakhs (on the road); that's our prediction. The confirmed timeline of this car is not sure yet, but we might get a sneak peek of this car in August itself. This was all about XUV700.
