Xiaomi has unveiled the one device that every Mi fan has been asking for about six months at today's much-anticipated "Smarter Living 2022" event. The Xiaomi Smart Band 6 has finally made its way to India. It comes with a larger display, blood oxygen monitoring, and other features. So, without further ado, here's all you need to know about the launch of the Mi Smart Band 6 in India:

Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6:  Price and Availability

In India, the Mi Smart Band 6 is priced at Rs. 3,499. Magenta, black, blue, olive, and orange will be among the four color options available. The wearable is more expensive than we expected. In India, you may find affordable smartwatches like the Realme Watch 2, Redmi Watch, and others in this price range.

The smart band will be available for purchase on the company's website, Amazon India, and other popular offline retail outlets.

Display

The main improvement on the Mi Smart Band 6 is the larger display. You now have a 1.56-inch AMOLED display with a 326 PPI resolution of 152 x 360 pixels. When compared to the Mi Band 5, this means you get approximately 50% more screen real estate. The screen runs from the top edge to the bottom edge, as you can see if you look closely in the picture. The interaction button has gone, leaving you to rely entirely on touch.

Health Features

Over 100 watch faces will be available through the Xiaomi companion app to customize the wearable's display. Moving on to the health features, the Mi Smart Band 6 now has a heart rate sensor and a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen monitoring (the most requested feature, especially since the Coronavirus outbreak). In addition, the wearable may track 24-hour sleep, PAI, stress, and a variety of other health-related activities. It's also useful for keeping track of women's health.

New Fitness Modes

Support for 30 workout modes is one of the areas where the Band 6 outperforms its predecessor. There are just 11 exercise modes on the Mi Band 5. Indoor fitness, Indoor ice skating, HIIT, Core Training, Stretching, Stepper, Pilates, Gymnastics, Cricket, Bowling, Basketball, Dance, Zumba, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton, Boxing, and Kickboxing are among the 19 new fitness modes.

The Mi Band is waterproof to 5 ATM, so you can wear it in the pool or at the beach without fear of it getting wet. The user interface is mostly the same, including support for call and message notifications, idle alerts, music playback controls, do not disturb, and a variety of other features. Thanks to recent updates, the Mi Band 6 can now be used as a flashlight and can respond to text messages quickly from your wrist.

Battery and Charging

Finally, we'll discuss the battery and its charging. The wearable uses the same 125mAh battery, which can last up to 14 days on a single charge (in regular use). The magnetic charger, which was introduced with the Mi Band 5 earlier this year, is the best part.
