iPhone 13, Everything Confirmed!

So finally, the launch date of the iPhone has been revealed, Apple has officially confirmed that iPhone 13 is going to launch on 14th September 2021, and we have known many things about it already. Even Apple might launch its Watch Series 7 as well. So let's discuss what new we will get to see here and some unrevealed pieces of information. So let's begin.

So the biggest feature of the iPhone 13 will be in its display. From the new launch invite, it seems to be coming with an always-on display, with this LTPU display will be implemented in Pro and Pro Max, which will have up to 120Hz refresh rate in it. That means you'll get to see an option for a high refresh rate, but it will have a variable refresh rate. When it is needed, only the refresh rate will go up to 120Hz, or if you're playing any game that supports 120Hz, then it will go up to 120Hz. If you're using your phone normally, it might not get up to 120Hz on the UI. Apple has done this thing to save battery. There will be at least a 10 - 15% increment in the battery. In iPhone 13 Mini, almost 1 hour of battery backup will be increased, and in other iPhones, 10-15% will be incremented. It is because this time the battery is bigger than earlier. With the bigger battery, the thickness of the iPhones will also increase, which means this time, the iPhone will be slightly thicker than earlier.

From the leaks, it seems that this time, the iPhone 13 series will be named as iPhone 13, and its probability of being named as iPhone 12S has decreased. There is one thing common in all the leaks, dummy models, and cat renders, which is the size of its notch. The size of the notch has become smaller than earlier. There has been an almost 25% reduction in the notch size. There will be a big change in the camera. Also, that will be related to Astrophotography. In the night mode, astrophotography mode will also be coming by which you can click pictures of stars. This is feature is already available in Android, but Apple will implement this on the next level. Not only that, the camera already has the software feature, but the hardware-based changes will also be made up to 10-15% in the Aperture and changes will be made in the sensor size also, but almost 15% entry of light, which will enter through the lens and fall on the sensor will be increase, so the low light photography will be better, and the biggest improved will be made in the ultra-wide camera, where you'll get to see autofocus, and f/1.8 aperture, by which you'll get to see 40% more light in the ultra-wide lens. So this will benefit in clicking better images ultra-wide in low light conditions.

Now, if we talk about the design. It will be more or less similar to the other iPhone series from the back, but in iPhone 13 Series, you'll get to see a diagonal-style camera. Apple might have done this to remove the lens flare from the flash of the camera. Only two lenses will come, and there will be no implementation of Lidar Sensor in iPhone 13 and 13 Mini. In the iPhone 13 Series, the edge and square design will be given. But recently, there has been a new leak in the market of satellite communication. That means the device will communicate with the low orbit earth satellites and make emergency contacts. So if your phone is not connected with WiFi or the mobile network, then also with the help of satellite communication, this technology can be used. Now, this might happen that, in many countries, technology is illegal, so this might happen that these features will be exclusive to few countries, and you might not get to see this in India. That means connectivity with the satellite feature will only be available in the USA, but you might not see this in India.

If we talk about the Chips then, It will be coming with the A15 Bionic Chipset. It seems to be based on the 5nm, yet there is a rumor about the 4nm in the market. A little bit of improvement has been made over last time, which is Qualcomm X60 Modem will be used here for 5G, other than that, 5G carrier aggregation, voiceover 5G, and 5G millimeter-wave support will also be there. It will be available in multiple countries as well. That means 5G connectivity will be better, and we have to wait and see when these iPhones come in India. Will they come with millimeter Wave 5G. But yes, they have tried to cover all the 5G bands here.

If we say about charging then, it won't come with a charger in the box. But for now, ports will be going anywhere. We'll also get to see the debut of the ios 15 stable release, and some exclusive ios 15 features will be reserved for iPhone 13. It is possible that in ios 15, we'll get to see AI-based charging, which will analyze your charging habits, and based on that, it will charge the phone efficiently.

Well, all these things will be in iPhone 13 itself, and another thing is that this time we won't be seeing any price hike. Well, it doesn't make much difference as it was already quite expensive. You can expect iPhone Mini to cost around Rs 60,000 - Rs 80,000, and iPhone 13 Pro Max could be priced at around Rs 1.5 Lakh. The sensor-shift in the Pro Max model might be given in the Pro model as well. So there will be some improvement in the camera; iPhone 13 Pro Max model will come with the best camera, and as we come down, some features will be decreased step by step. So you will get to see multiple color options on iPhone.

Well, on 14th September, iPhone 13 will launch, and in India, after 1 week of the launch, pre-booking will start in the stores. So you can expect it to be available in the stores by 21st September, but Apple is facing the problem of chip shortage, so it might happen that it will be available in limited quantities in the store. And you might get to see a longer waiting time on it.

Overall, improvements will be made in iPhone, thickness will increase, the weight will increase, but you'll get a bigger battery. Night mode will be coming with an astrophotography feature, always-on display, and in Pro and Pro Max, Promotion display will be there.

So this was it. Stay tuned to CERadar for more updates.
