Nowadays Electric Vehicles are taking over Petrol or diesel vehicles because EVs are a much better option over normal vehicles, as it helps in saving money as well as EVs are more friendly for the environment, as these Electric Vehicles are fully battery powered and doesn't release any smoke as these are Electric vehicles. Mahindra eKUV100

Mahindra eKUV100 Launch Leaks

This car was showcased at 2018's auto expo and this is mainly a city-oriented Electric car, So it will have a range of approximately 170-180 KMs and it will be priced below Rs 10 lakhs. So, it could just be the most affordable proper electric car that you can buy in India right now. The launch of this car is expected to happen in the next few months.

Mahindra eXUV300

Mahindra eXUV300 Launch

Mahindra eXUV is basically the electrified version of the XUV300. The 300 itself is a very nice car for both petrol and the diesel variant are really good, it is fun to drive a practical and comfortable car. The electric version of the eXUV300 will be a direct competitor to the Tata Nexon EV, So, this car will be powerful and will have a range of approximately 300-350 KMs on a realistic basis and of course, the car will be offered a very nice package. The pricing is expected to be between Rs. 14-17 Lakhs ex-showroom.

Tata Altroz EV

The Tata Altroz EV was also showcased at the auto expo. Now the Tata Altroz itself is again a very practical hatchback it is spacious, fun to drive, both the petrol and the diesel version are fairly popular and the electric version is also likely to get a lot of demand from Indian customers. In terms of pricing, it will be positioned below the Tata Nexon EV but it might share its motor and the battery with the Nexon itself. The Altroz also gets a lot of features all of which will be carried forward to the electric version of the Altroz.

Tata Punch EV

The Tata Punch was launched in India just a few months back it is a fairly competent car, of course, it does not have a lot of power but the electric version is again likely to be similar to the Tata Altroz. In terms of mechanicals it will get the same Ziptron technology, the Punch is based on the same platform as the Altroz, for the battery and the motor are likely to be the same and the pricing also won't be very different. So, you can expect to get these cars for approximately 11-13 lakhs ex-showroom. So, if you are looking for an electric hatchback you can have a look at the Tata Altroz EV and if you are looking for an electric compact SUV you can have a look at the Tata Punch EV. Talking about the punch the Tata Punch is also going to get a turbo petrol engine option very soon.

MG ZS EV

MG ZS EV Launch in India

The MG ZS EV came out in India a couple of years back, it will get a mid-life facelift the exterior will get a bit similar to the MG Astor, and on the inside, it will get a bigger touchscreen infotainment system a digital instrument cluster and it might just get the AI robot on the dashboard as well. In terms of mechanicals, the ZS EV is likely to offer a bigger battery pack, thus you get more range on this car.

Volvo XC40 Recharge

This car was going to be launched in 2021, but the launch got pushed by a year this car gets 204 horsepower 2 motors of 200 horsepower each and this car get a range of approximately 500 KMs, and Volvo XC40 Recharge does 0-100 KMs per hour speed in less than 5 seconds and this electric car also gets all-wheel drive. The XC40 Recharge gets a 78-kilowatt battery with the expected range being 400-420 KMs and the top speed of this car is 180 KMs per hour.

Tesla Model 3

Tesla cars are highly anticipated in India they have been undergoing testing for ages, we have seen these cars so many times and a lot of people have also privately imported their own Tesla cars. The first proper launch of the Tesla car in India could be the Tesla Model 3. The Tesla Model 3 will be positioned at a price range of approximately 70 lakhs ex-showroom but the pricing is not confirmed it is just speculation as of now. In terms of exclusivity, the Tesla Model 3 will be above other luxury cars because those brands are a bit common now that Tesla has something to stand out.

Mini Cooper SE

The Mini Cooper SE is basically an electric version of the standard Mini Cooper. It is a small hatchback, fun to drive checkable and in the electric form, it has a range of approximately 250 KMs. 30 units of the Mini Cooper SE was allocated for the Indian market in November 2021 all of them have been sold out but the price of the car has not been revealed yet, it is expected to be announced by March 2022. Mini Cooper SE makes 180 PS of power it gets a 36.2-kilowatt battery, so yes it is a compact premium electric car if you want something like that.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford obviously does not make cars in India anymore but they will launch the Mustang Mach-E through the CBU route, So it will be fully imported. Ford Mustang Mach E gets a range of approximately 500 KMs and the 0-100 KM/h timing is just about 3.5 Seconds. The Ford Mustang is an iconic car and an electric version of the Ford Mustang might just draw some eyeballs but the sale and service network is something to watch out for this car.

Mercedes-Benz EQS

The Mercedes-Benz EQS is going to be launched in India this year itself. This is an electrified version of the S Class but it gets a lot of major changes now in terms of design the EQS looks out of this world, it is very nicely packaged both inside out. In terms of range, Mercedes EQS gets a range of approximately 700-750 KMs which is quite a lot, Now you can say goodbye to range anxiety with this car. The standard Mercedes EQS gets a battery of 107 kilowatts but you might also get a smaller battery pack on the lower versions but this could again be optional. Apart from the EQS Mercedes is also gearing up to launch the EQB and the EQE both of which have been listed on the automaker's Indian website. The Mercedes EQB is nearly 4.7 meters long and it is based on the GLB platform, it has the typical design elements of the Mercedes EQ models and it can be head up to 7 seats in certain markets. Now the EQB will get a 66.5 Kilowatt battery and it will get the 350 formatting variant in India with a claimed range of approximately 420 KMs. Talking about the EQE, well this car was showcased globally in September 2021 itself and this is the second car to be based on Mercedes's new luxury new electric vehicle platform, the first is, of course, the EQS. The EQE looks like a similar version of the Mercedes-Benz EQS and this one will get a 90-kilowatt battery the range will be approximately 545-660 KMs and there will be a 288 horsepower motor at the back also.
